Snowy March Nights...

We have about 3-4in. of snow outside and it's not supposed to stop until tomorrow.

Dear Mother Nature,
You do realize it's March 26th right?
Just wondering.

In other news...

Last and final dress(es) fitting happened today! My best friend drove down with me to my grandmother's home, where Mom has set up shop. It was great bestie time for us since I'll be leave in just TWO WEEKS!!!!

That's right, this time in two weeks, I will be an old married lady...and I CANNOT wait!!! :D

-Going away shoes purchased
-Dresses fitted perfectly, thanks to Mom :)
-Flowers 90% done
-Reception menu completed
-I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!! :D

This coming week will be my last week at my job, caring for my three angels. It's going to be an emotionally rough week I can tell you that. But I am comforted by the fact that I am leaving them in the hands of my darling sister. They already adore her, but according to them no one could replace me... ;)

14 days and counting people...I'll be leaving this snow behind for the warmth of the Caribbean sun! :)

Life is changing all around me... :)

Happy Birthday Momma!

On this March day in 1961, my mother was born.

On that day, no one knew that she would marry a preacher.
No one knew that she would move countless times, following her husband and his ministry and dreams.
No one suspected that she would have two pretty little girls before she was 30.
No one predicted that she would have to learn to give up holidays and birthdays with family and friends to bring the gospel to the utter most parts of the earth.
No one knew that she would dedicate herself for more than 15 years to the education of her two pretty girls.
No one understood her sacrifices then, no one understands them now.

There aren’t a whole lot of things that people know or understand about my mother. But there are in fact many things that are completely clear about her:

Everyone knows that she is the most compassionate woman many have ever known.
Everyone knows that she cares.
Everyone knows her strength knows no measure.
Everyone knows that she and hard work go hand in hand.
Everyone knows she would do anything for her two pretty girls.
Everyone knows that she is a praying woman.

Fifty years ago, many may not have known all that much about Kelley J. Dibble. But today, on her 50th birthday, there is so much to know about my mother, it would take years of learning to comprehend it all. Just ask my dad.

Happy 50th birthday, Momma. :) I love you!

Engagement Photos :)

We have the most wonderful photographers for our wedding. Jason and Amanda are truly amazing, not just in their profession, but as people.

When we first met them, I knew we had absolutely made the best choice. We could not be more excited about having them involved in our wedding!! :)

Here is a blog Amanda shared of our session a couple weeks ago! Enjoy!! :)

March Madness

Hello March!! :)

It's going to be a very busy month, but I am so ready! This month includes:

Last wedding dress fitting--March 5!
Momma's and Mom-in-law's birthdays--same day--March 9!
Sister's birthday--March 18!
My last trip to WI as an unmarried lady--March 18-21--for Weekend To Remember!
Last week of taking care of my sweet babies--March 28-April 1!

WOW! I'm getting married next month and I cannot wait!!! :) I feel like I'm in that scene in Cinderella when the mice are sewing Cinderella's dress for the ball and suddenly all the seams come together and it's a dress--it's all coming together at the seams!!

This month is going to be full of emotion, I can already tell. But I am so ready! I'm ready to be off this roller coaster we call Wedding Planning! I'm ready for spring and all it's glorious flowers and wonderful allergies! I'm ready for all these "lasts" to come.

Spring and fall are my favorite seasons because you get to watch the earth change colors so dramatically. And this year, I get to change right along with it! :)

Life is changing! :)
