There's a Spring in My Step...

Spring is here!

The earth is in its "new beginnings" stage, and I feel like it's starting a trend. Along with the happy little daffodils, the bright green baby leaves on each tree, the tiny pink blooms on Gwyneth (the tree in my front year), and bright sun that has dipped closer to earth, comes a closet full of spring clothes that I've kept in storage for about six months, new flip flops from Old Navy, road trips with the windows down, and a whole bunch of new freckles. :)

Spring reminds me of beginnings. Fresh, new, bright, happy beginnings. Beginnings filled with flowers and hearts and candy. :) Beginnings that make me smile and laugh and love. Spring reminds me of new. New found favorites, new clothes, new shoes, new sunglasses. :)

With each new beginning memories are made and others are put to rest with the winter. With each new beginning I feel free and happy and fresh.

Life change moment: His mercies are new every morning.

When you make a mistake, you don't have to wait for spring to come around again for you to feel fresh or renewed. Because when He died, He did it for every sin, regardless of when it was committed. When He said His mercy would cover every wrong choice we had ever made, He meant now, today, this second. You don't have to wait for a day, a week, a month, a year. You can have forgiveness today.

His mercy rewrote my life, because His mercy is new every single morning.
